Cafe Tu Tu Tango is located in the heart of Orlando's busiest strip. With plenty of art hung on the walls, in-house artists, and vibrant colors throughout the restaurant, you'll feel in an art gallery as soon as you walk in. They offer plenty of seating, including patio, bar, lounge and main rooms. They also have live music on select days. Their plates are tapas-style, which mean they're intended to be shared. Definitely the funnest way to eat.
This has got to be one of the most diverse Happy Hour out there. They offer a bundle where you can order all tapas on special for –wait for it– only $18.22 (or $3.22/each if ordered individually). Aside from that, all specialty cocktails are included in the Happy Hour as well as select wines and draft beers, sangrias, and well drinks.
Even though it was a little too sweet, the blueberry flavor was quite enjoyable. The sugar rim further added to the sweetness of the cocktail but it was a nice touch and added a new layer to every sip.
This one was a little harder to get down. It was a bit too sour, which made it taste poorly balanced. Additionally, the flavors just simply did not harmonize very well. If you're into sour cocktails, give this a try but I will be passing on it in the future.
Knowing we were in a Spanish-inspired restaurants, I had some what of a high expectation for their Sangria. Unfortunately, Cafe Tu Tu Tango did not deliver. The lack of fruits along with the absence of citrus flavors gave this drink a taste of boxed wine that sat out for too long.
This one is simple. If you like avocado and you like Hummus, you're going to like this one. No need to complicate. As simple as that. Oh, also, the naan bread for dipping is soft and delicious. A no-brainer.
These were the highlight of the all tapas. The corn on the cob was cooked to perfection. The cotija cheese sauce added so much flavor and creaminess to every bite. This one is a must!
These were a close 2nd. These egg rolls are phenomenal. Chicken, goat cheese, cheddar cheese, red onion, corn, creole mustard sauce. And yes, it tastes as amazing as it sounds. It's crunchy, it's creamy, and the corn inside adds a whole new dimension to every bite. Another must!
Easy to go down, these cuban sliders are a nice and quick bite in the midst of this tapa-palooza. I personally love the combination of meats–capicola, genoa salami, pulled pork–accompanied by the tangy flavor from pickles, swiss cheese, mustard and mojo sauce.
Cooked just right, these chicken skewers had a nice charr on the outside while maintaining the perfect amount of juiciness on the inside. Another nice addition to their Happy Hour menu.
I wouldn't have know these were cauliflower tacos if randomly handed to me. Not only does the cauliflower looked like chicken but they were also perfectly tossed in their BBQ sauce. The flavor was complex and complimented all the other ingredients. Every bite was great!
These tacos should be banned. We had to get rid of them immediately. When they first arrived, it seemed something had gone bad. These smell so fishy it makes you uncomfortable. 0/10, would not recommend.
Rich, deep chocolate cake pop with a satisfying crunch on the outside. These were the perfect dessert to wrap it all up!
